Bio // Peter Roth

Growing up in a small Ohio town, Peter only dreamt of a life beyond road construction and farming. Ultimately, it was his pursuit of his dreams that plowed the way to his career, not a tractor.

After receiving a BFA in graphic design from Bowling Green State University, Peter launched his career in 2000 working in New York City for Ronald Ridgeway Inc., a boutique design firm in SoHo.

In 2001, he took a graphic design position with SBS International, a Boeing company, where he managed and maintained their brand identity and marketing collateral needs as the company’s solo designer.

After SBS, Peter joined MJM Creative, looking to collaborate and learn from other creative leads. At MJM, Peter was responsible for designing and art directing the look and feel for a variety of launch events held by GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Xerox.

From 2005 to 2006, Peter further broadened his experience when he took on a career as a freelance Art Director and had the opportunity to work for Tribal DDB, Ogilvy & Mather and Cline Davis Mann, developing interactive media for clients including Pfizer, Nova Nordisk, Lenovo and Abbott.

Mid-2006, Peter took a full-time art director position with McCann Torre Lazur. There he was the lead art director on a variety of award winning accounts that included GlaxoSmithKline’s oncology and dermatology business, Novartis, and internal agency initiatives.

After five years at McCann Torre Lazur, Peter and his wife decided to pack up and move back to Ohio to raise their son.

In 2011, GO2 Advertising located in Twinsburg, Ohio, brought Peter on board to help build the company into an ad agency. There he was creative directing and helping guide a team of designers that won numerous national and international awards.

Currently, Peter is a Senior Digital Designer at Marcus Thomas in Cleveland, OH.
